PDP Theory Course
This course is suitable for drivers who wish to get started in the fuel industry, or those currently in the industry looking to keep their qualification valid. Completing this course in conjunction with a Practical Assessment will qualify you for your Petroleum Driver Passport.
PDP Theory Course
One half of the Petroleum Driver Passport (PDP) qualification; the PDP Theory Course is suitable for drivers who wish to get started in the fuel industry, or those currently in the industry looking to keep their qualification valid.
This course covers the PDP Theory Initial, Refresher, and Re-validation.
All drivers must complete a PDP Initial Course to begin with, which will then give you a five-year qualification. You will be required to complete a Refresher once a year, until the fifth year, in which you will need to complete another Initial. If you miss a Refresher, you will instead need to complete a Re-Validation.
After completing an Initial Course, you will have four months to complete your Practical Assessment.
If you complete a Refresher Course, you will need to complete your Practical Assessment any time during the four months leading up to your card’s anniversary date.
When completing a Re-Validation, you will need to complete your Practical Assessment as soon as possible.

The PDP Theory Course is entirely classroom based, and includes tuition from our experienced instructors along with exam elements. We are approved to have the exams are completed through an Online system, in which you can receive your results on the same day as completion.
This course takes place during one day. It begins at 13:00, and lasts until 16:30.
