Driver CPC Course
Our Periodic Driver CPC Course is suitable for all new and existing HGV & PCV drivers aiming to keep their Driver Qualification Cards valid. You can complete your 35 hours of tuition during one five-day week, or on multiple separate dates.
Since keeping a valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC) is a requirement in order to operate vehicles over 3.5 tonnes, our Periodic Driver CPC Course is suitable for all new and existing HGV & PCV drivers. In order to keep your DQC valid, all drivers must complete 35 hours, or five days, of Driver CPC training over a five year period.
You can attend your full 35 hours of training with us during a one-week course, or you can attend single days over a range of time to complete your entitlement.
During our Driver CPC Course, we are able to cover a wide variety of modules in order to make sure that you gain the most from this course as possible. It is our aim to ensure that your training is engaging, and that you are able to refresh your already existing knowledge, or learn something new.
We will cover:
- Health & Safety
- Tiredness, Diet & Lifestyle
- Licence, Weights & Dimensions
- Vehicle Checks & Defects
- Company & Public Image
- Drivers Hours
- Economical Driving
- Emergency First Aid At Work
- Vulnerable Road Users
- Fire Marshall
To keep our Driver CPC Course as interesting and as gainful as possible, we are pleased to be able to offer CPD approved qualifications through our membership with the National Logistics Training Consortium. You can gain your required amount of CPC tuition, and also came away from our course with Level 3 Drivers Hours & Tachographs, and Emergency First Aid At Work Qualifications.
This course is entirely classroom based, and is led by our experienced instructors.
Each day of this course begins at 08:30, and ends at 16:30. The amount of days that you attend will vary depending on how much CPC tuition you require. The maximum amount of training that you would require is five days.
