    Description

    ADR Refresher Course

    This ADR Refresher Course is suitable for drivers who are looking to keep their existing ADR cards valid. All of the major classes, as well as modules for Tankers and Packages can be covered. Once this course has been completed, you will have another five years of validity added to your card. Towards the end of this period, you will need to complete another ADR Refresher Course.

    This course will take place inside our classroom.

    As we are approved for the completion of Online Exams, you are likely to receive your exam results on the same day as completion.

    As well as being SQA approved, this course is also JAUPT approved, meaning that you are able to claim Driver CPC tuition from this course, free of charge.

    If you already have an existing ADR card, and would like to add classes to it, then please click here.

    This course does not cover Class 1 (Explosive) or Class 7 (Radioactive). As these are more specialist classes, we complete these through separate courses.

     

    Modules Covered

    During this course, we are able to cover:

    • Class 3 – Flammable Liquid
    • Class 4.1 – Flammable Solid
    • Class 4.2 – Spontaneously Combustible
    • Class 4.3 – Dangerous When Wet
    • Class 5.1 – Oxidizer
    • Class 5.2 – Organic Peroxide
    • Class 6 – Toxic & Infectious Substances
    • Class 8 – Corrosive
    • Class 9 – Miscellaneous
    • Tanks
    • Examinations
    • Up to 14 Hours of Driver CPC

    If you only require certain classes, then you will not need to complete every module. For every class that you do not require, the exam fee for that module will be removed from the cost of the course.

    When booking your course, you will be able to select the classes that you require.

     

    Delivery

    This course will be delivered inside the classroom.

    Length

    The full ADR Refresher Course takes place over three days.

    Day One begins at 08:30 and lasts until 15:45. If you are claiming Driver CPC, then this day will instead end at 16:45.

    Day Two begins at 08:30 and lasts until 16:45

    Day Three begins at 08:30 and lasts until 14:00.
